Product Details
Solid Teak Wood Outdoor Shenandoah Arm Chair. This chair includes the seat cushion a chair storage cover. Pair with your favorite sustainable teak wood side or dining table.
The back of the chair is made from abaca rope, also known as Manila rope. This is considered one of the strongest natural fibers and is known for its durability and high tensile strength. Abaca fibers are native to the Philippines and come from the abaca tree. They are prized for their mechanical strength, resistance to saltwater damage, and long fiber length, which can be up to 3 meters. The best grades of abaca are fine, lustrous, and light beige in color. The frame is powder-coated rust-proof aluminum, creating a very lightweight yet super-sturdy support.
The seat cushion has 2.0 firm foam and is covered in Olefin, a fiber that is extremely easy to clean, quick drying and won't fade in the sun.

Manufacturer Information
Whitewood Industries, John Thomas Furniture’s parent company, was founded in 1982 as a manufacturer of solid wood, ready-to-finish furniture. As a 40-year-old company, we’ve evolved greatly into becoming a leading supplier of both finished and unfinished furniture throughout the U.S. We proudly transitioned to an employee-owned company in 2017. Our product is made entirely of Parawood, which is part of the maple family. It is valued for its dense grain, minimal shrinkage, attractive light color and ease of finishing. It is also prized as an "environmentally friendly" wood, as it makes use of plantation-grown trees that have been cut down at the end of their latex-producing cycle. We use only high-performance, pre-catalyzed sealers/lacquers understanding that you don't just stand around and look at your furniture...you use it! Whitewood Industries complies with the highest standards for emission minimization as required by California and the Federal Government.
