Is the back finished? Is there a picture? This will be free standing.

The back panel is not designed to show. But, we can order with an upgraded panel back that will look visually nice when used free-standing. Please note this a narrow piece and can get tipped over because the footprint is not very deep. You may consider ordering it deeper to have a wider stance.
