I love these stools and would love to purchase them, but can you please tell me exactly what the prop 65 warning is about relating to this product?

The state of California requires a warning label on any product that contains known carcinogens that may lead to some form of cancer. The list of known carcinogens is incredibly lengthy as you might imagine. One of the items on the list is Wood Dust. Guess what.... solid wood furniture contains wood dust.... so literally every single item we sell has that warning on it.
