The Dovetail Bedroom Collection is proudly Made in the USA by over 500 craftsmen and craftswomen in our factories in the Virginia mountains. The collection features Solid White American Oak solids and white oak veneers. By using ATAP (Accelerate The Aging Process) technology, we have kept the splits, cracks, knots and the bold grain pattern found in oak lumber to create a reclaimed wood look in this beautiful and unique bedroom collection. This collection is made exclusively for consumers who understand and value a reclaimed wood look. The dominant design feature is the dovetail, a wood joinery technique dating back thousands of years and which we display prominently near the top of each bed post, the front right and front left top rim of each case piece, and in all four comers of each mirror. Beyond the wood itself, the most significant design elements are the dovetail joints featured in every piece of the collection. Dovetail joiner is a technique which pre-dates written history found on furniture in the tombs of Egyptian Pharaoh's dating back 4,000 years. We are excited to introduce our new patent-pending interpretation of this ageless technique. Until now, only Mother Nature could make wood look this good. The Dovetail Bedroom Collection by Vaughan-Bassett comes in four fantastic finishes - Java, Mystic Grey, Natural Oak, and Sun Bleached White.

  • Queen, King or California King
  • Four Color Choices: Java, Mystic Grey, Natural Oak, and Sun Bleached White

Manufacturer: Vaughan-Bassett Made In : Galax, Virginia and Elkin, North Carolian

Based in Galax, Virginia, Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Company manufactures bedroom furniture. In 1919, two men, B.C. Vaughan and J.D. Bassett, Sr., both of whom were from Bassett, Virginia, first founded our company. Mr. Bassett, Sr., and his brother, C.C. Bassett, also founded what today is well known as Bassett Furniture Industries. Employing about 700 people in factories based in Galax, Virginia, and Elkin, North Carolina, we are extremely proud of the fact that 100 percent of our furniture is crafted here in the United States by American employees. In fact, Vaughan-Bassett is now the largest manufacturer of wooden adult bedroom furniture in the United States. Most of the furniture we manufacture consists of wood solids and wood veneers grown and is harvested near our plants in the Southeast. Pine, oak, maple, cherry, ash, poplar, birch, and beech are the primary species used in Vaughan-Bassett's bedroom collections. Our number one priority is providing our customers with unmatched service, quality, and value. In short, nothing makes us happier than to make it easy for our customers to feel at home.

All Vaughan-Bassett chests and dressers are engineered to comply with ASTM International F2057, a voluntary stability standard for bedroom storage furniture, and have earned the third-party UL Stability Verified mark. Furniture tip restraints and instructions for installation are included. We strongly recommend using the tip restraint hardware to securely anchor this product to the wall. In homes where children reside or visit, we advise you to anchor all chests and dressers.
