This item is stocked in Solid Tiger Maple in Caramel Cocoa Finish or special order other sizes, wood, and color. The table features two eleven-inch self-storing, removable leaves. The table slides are gear-driven for easy opening and closing. These self-storing leaves have aprons for a finished look. The Fort Knox tables feature secret storage in the base of the table. Designed with a comfort aesthetic, this table offers ultimate comfort with its boat-shaped top, triple bevel edge, and eased edges on the storage base. There are no pinch points walking around this table, and no sharp edges when sitting at the table in comfort. The Fort Knox chair features eased edges, curved lumbar support and a contoured seat for ultimate comfort. This side chair and bench feature a wooden seat but can also be ordered in high-performance fabric or vinyl. Matching arm chair is available. Matching stationary or swivel stool also available.

Tiger Maple, the same tree that produces the delicious syrup for weekend pancake breakfasts, offers a rich, delectable choice for many table styles. Tiger maple gets its name from the wavy, dark "stress marks" in the grain caused by natural irregularities in the tree’s growth, creating a striking striped or curly pattern. The Janka scale: 950.
