Styled with softly contoured solid foam arms and a plush double pillow back filled with premium polyester fiber, the Codie looks as good as it feels  a rare combination in the lift chair category. Our stocking fabric features Opti Clean's dual-barrier protection system  spills bead up and wipe away easily on the surface, and any stain that does penetrate is prevented from becoming permanent, making cleanup as simple as blotting with a cloth.
What sets the Codie apart is its dual-motor lift system, which controls the back and the lift/recline functions independently. This means you can rise to a standing position while staying more upright  reducing the risk of pitching forward  and then recline to a fully flat, mattress-like lay-flat position when it's time to rest. Infinite positioning between those two extremes gives you true customized comfort at any time of day. Sized for petite to medium frames and recommended for individuals up to 5'7" tall and up to 375 lbs.
