Stuart David began in 1961 as Stuart's Cabinet Shop owned by Stuart Neilson and his wife Lela who designed custom cabinets for local homes. They had reputation for beautifully crafted, extremely durable cabinets that would withstand the test of time. Over the years, the manufacturing process became more important and they focused their efforts in this area. Now run by their son David, Stuart David Home Furnishings distributes its furniture throughout the United States. Stuart David is still manufactured in Ceres California and continues to be a leader in providing fine wood furniture.
