Delivery & Order Info from Hoot Judkins Furniture

Price Matching Guarantee:

The "Hoot" Judkins Price Matching Guarantee means we won't be beat on price. "Hoot" Judkins will match product sale pricing from any brick and mortar furniture store within 100 mile radius within 10 days of purchase. Please provide an advertisement or written quote on company letterhead and we will match the price for the exact same product. *Subject to management approval. Product must be the exact same item in the same condition. Clearance items may be excluded and subject to availability.

Online Ordering:

During the check out process, you will have the choice to either pick up your furniture at our store in Redwood City or pay extra for an in-home delivery. We do not ship furniture. After you place an online order, you will be contacted by customer service to confirm the order and update you on the product availability. If the item is out of stock and needs to be ordered, we will not process your order until we have your confirmation that you are willing to wait the lead-time for the product to arrive.

Delivery Area
Local delivery services are available throughout Northern California- charges based on distance. Minimum delivery charge is $70. 
We do provide an in-house delivery service throughout the greater Bay Area and some parts of Northern California including the Tahoe area.
Please ask our staff for more information about delivery.
We do not ship furniture.

Return Policy
Most items purchased at "Hoot" Judkins are returnable for a refund so long as:
  • The item was in stock at the time of purchase.
  • You have your sales receipt.
  • The item is in the same condition as it was when it was purchased
  • No more than 10 days has elapsed from the date of purchase.

The following are non-refundable:

  • Special orders.
  • Custom finishing.
  • Modified pieces (such as adding locks, cutting shelves or drilling holes).
  • "Red Tag" or clearance items ending in .88
  • Delivery or setup charges.

Please note that if an item was purchased by cash or check, a refund check will be mailed within 7 to 14 days. All returns are subject to management approval. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us online or call one of our stores.

Any custom service or modifying including custom staining and blending must be paid in full before service will be completed.

On Display to Order Policy

Some of our products are not available to purchase off the showroom floor, but are available to be ordered for you. Usually these items involve a choice of colors, styles, sizes, fabrics or other options. The lead time to receive your order will vary based upon the supplier and the choices you have selected. Normal lead times are between 1 to 12 weeks. We will provide you with our best estimate for the lead time of the products you order, but cannot guarantee ship dates due to manufacturing delays in production and shipping.

Delivery Policy
  • Prior to your delivery, please have the area cleared where your new furniture is to be placed.
  • "Hoot" Judkins will confirm an approximate delivery time the evening prior to the delivery. Every effort will be made to arrive within this time period.
  • Set-up of merchandise is not included unless specified on the sales slip (a fee will be applied).
  • Please notify your salesperson if your new furniture needs to be carried up stairs. Furniture will only be brought up stairs if there is a notification on your receipt.
  • Delivery personnel are prohibited from re-locating your existing furniture or household items.
  • If you are not home during the specified delivery time a second delivery charge may apply.
  • "Hoot" Judkins assumes no liability for inadequate delivery access.
  • On the day of your delivery, you may track your estimated time of arrival by visiting www.hootjudkins.com/track.
Will Call Policy
  • Will call hours: Mon-Fri are 10:00 am - 5:30 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 4:30 pm; Sun 11:30 am - 4:30 pm. Please call 30 minutes prior to arrival.
  • Customers choosing to "will call" their purchase are responsible for providing any needed padding and supplies necessary to secure their load. "Hoot" Judkins employees are not responsible for security loads. We do not assume any liability for "will call" merchandise once it has left our facility, other than warranty issues.

Sales Tax
 Sales tax for our store locations is 8.75%. Sales tax for merchandise delivered to California addresses will be assessed at the local rate for the delivery address. On-line orders placed for delivery to California address will be assessed at 8.75% at checkout and adjusted before actual payment is processed to the correct local rate.
