These sofas are built to last. The frames are hardwood constructed with 5/4 hardwood and 7/8 inch plywood laminates with no particle board. The arms are heavily padded, tie wires and back seat springs add additional support. Heavy gauge sinuous wire springs add durability and comfort. Seat backs are heavily padded and feature 100% Dacron polyester fiber back cushion encased in a sewn ticking with separate compartments to prevent fiber down fall. Seat cushions feature 2.0 density high resiliency foam core with a blend of down filling and Dacron fiber wrapping. Joints are Mortised and Tenon or double dowelled, glued and corner blocked for durability. Wood legs and skirted frames are built into the frame for strength and durability. Legs are securely mounted to the base of the frame.
