All Borkholder pieces are heirloom crafted in the heart of Amish country and their timeless designs and techniques have been used for centuries. By using tongue and groove tops, ship-lap solid wood backs and sign and dating each piece, you can be assured that each piece is built to withstand your lifetime. This collection of pieces is constructed of solid wood with solid wood drawer interiors. The Amish Classic collection is mounted on a solid wood center mounted drawer glide and can be upgraded to a full-extension stainless steel soft-close, self-closing drawer glide. All drawer boxes are constructed of solid wood with English dovetail joinery. Backs that are visible from the front are solid wood ship-lap construction. Tops are tongue and groove which makes them incredibly strong and durable. Available in maple, cherry or quarter sawn oak. Most Borkholder pieces may be customized.
